Medbox Assists in Opening of State-Approved Marijuana Dispensaries in Arizona

MedBoxLogoHOLLYWOOD, Calif., July 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Medbox, Inc. (OTC Markets: MDBX) (, a leader in providing industry specific consulting services and patented systems to the medical and retail industries, announced that it has commenced attending Arizona Department of Health Services inspections with the company’s many dispensary license winners in that state.

It is estimated that of the dispensaries that are permitted to operate in the state of Arizona, Medbox is responsible for over 20% of those license successes. In order to ensure that final inspections for its dispensary clients through AZDHS run smoothly, the company has sent key staff members to Arizona and is personally attending all such inspections with their clients.

“With our help, the company’s consulting clients have met all criteria to successfully complete their inspections with the state. Accordingly, we have no reason to believe that each and every future inspection scheduled in the next 2 weeks will not follow suit,” stated Vincent Mehdizadeh, Chief Operations Officer of Medbox, Inc. “We are impressed with the level of care and thoughtfulness the State of Arizona has put forth in creating a dispensary program that is fair, balanced, and what we are now seeing is being emulated in states like Nevada, Illinois, and Massachusetts. It is truly remarkable time for residents in those states that want to make a difference in people’s lives while also having the ability to earn a salary and give back to the community through charitable donations. Well regulated dispensaries do all of that and more.”

The company has stated previously that it is putting a focus on being the means for professionals in various esteemed backgrounds to have a safe entry point into the medical cannabis industry.

“Our client list includes lawyers, doctors, accountants, pharmacists, realtors, and a variety of other well respected professions,” Dr. Bruce Bedrick, Medbox CEO stated. “Our organized approach coupled with our strategy of only working with states that have regulated and state-approved programs, sets us apart as the leader in mitigating risk in what is still considered to be an industry tolerated but not condoned by the federal government. While states are taking huge strides in creating safe access for patients, we are there to help in any way we can,” he added.
